Salon Policies

At J&J Hair Salon, we understand that life is unpredictable and emergencies are never convenient.

Health and safety come first and we appreciate the responsible decision to reschedule an appointment due to illness.

Cancellation & Late Tolerance

Please allow at least 24 hours notice to cancel or change an appointment.

If the client arrives late, not allowing the stylist enough time to give proper quality service, then certain luxury steps may be skipped at full price or the appointment may be rescheduled and recorded as a no-show.

Less than 24 hours notice to cancel/reschedule/change a chemical service is considered a no-show.

After three unexcused cancellations or two no-shows within one year a client may loose the privilege to book in advance.

Final decisions are made at the discretion of the owner and stylists. We reserve the right to refuse service to any person who violates this policy or causes disruption within the salon.

Hair services for kids

We don't have a minimum age for children's haircuts but if they are crying before the cutting begins, we cannot start.

If the stylist decides that the child is moving too much to safely continue the cut or the appointment time runs out due to the child being uncooperative, then the cut will be left unfinished. By booking an appointment for a child aged 5 years or younger, you're agreeing to these terms and to pay full-price for the appointment. 

Chemical services for those under 18 years old require the consent of the stylist and parent/guardian, who must sign a consent waiver.

Waxing can be done on those 14 and older, though the first appointment must be completed in the presence of their parent/guardian.
